Prof. Francisco Lupiáñez-Villanueva has more than 15 years of professional experience working on digital health and digital transformation. He was a Scientific and Project Officer at DG JRC working on economic evaluation and modelling of Personal Health Systems. He has worked extensively in the intersection between data, behaviours and regulation for several DG, including DG CONNECT, DG SANTE and DG JUST. Francisco has authored a broad range of scientific papers in the area of digital health, and has a long-standing experience in successfully delivering European projects in this area, including the last four eHealth benchmarkings conducted by the EC, including “Study on cross-border digital healthcare in the EU” for DG SANTE and “eHealth, Interoperability of Health Data and Artificial Intelligence for Health and Care in the EU” for DG CONNECT.
