Silvia Ruggeri is a lawyer, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the ‘Circolo Giuristi Telematici’ (i.e. Telematic Jurists' Circle) and Co-Founder of the associated law firm ‘Ruggeri Compliance’, with which she advises public administrations, State-owned companies and corporations on compliance, data protection and legal information technology issues.

She graduated in law from the University of Florence and then acquired a Master's degree in Audit and Risk Management with honours from the University of Pisa, recognised by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA),

With regard to her current activity, she advises on compliance with regulations on personal data protection, implementation of measures for preventing corruption and enhance transparency, whistleblowing. She deals with the definition of policies, procedures and operating instructions related to the management of IT systems and cyber security and compliance with international ISO/IEC standards. She also carries out training assignments on the mentioned topics and auditing.

She is interested in new technology law and its practical applications in the business world.
