Giulia Zappaterra, laureata in giurisprudenza all’università LUISS Guido Carli di Roma, ha poi conseguito un LL.M. in Intellectual Property, con focus sulla privacy, cybersecurity e nuove tecnologie, presso la George Washington University, in Washington DC (USA). Abilitata all’esercizio della professione in Italia ed in Spagna ha continuato ad approfondire le sue conoscenza sia a livello nazionale che internazionale (con un focus sugli Stati Uniti). Ad oggi, collabora con lo studio DLA Piper, dove è Legal Director. Quale avvocato senior specializzato in privacy e cybersecurity e presta assistenza a clienti nazionali e internazionali su tali materie nonché su tematiche inerenti l’information technology e nuove tecnologie, e-commerce ed e-payment nonché in materia di accordi commerciali (nazionali ed internazionali) e relativi alla fornitura di tecnologia. Inoltre, offre i propri servizi di Data Protection Officer ad un numero sempre crescente di clienti che si fidano della sua esperienza con riferimento alle attività di compliance privacy.
