
Beverley leads the firm’s data protection practice. She has over 25 years’ experience and joined Stevens & Bolton from a London firm, having worked internationally. She has experience of working in-house, including as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and providing in-house data protection and privacy support at a major multinational.
Beverley has significant experience advising clients on data protection and GDPR including audits, desktop and gap analysis ,project implementation cookies, international transfers, data protection policies, marketing consents and subject access requests, as well as other data matters such as freedom of information issues. She advises businesses across a range of industries and her particular sector specialisms include IT, retail, manufacturing, life sciences, energy and renewables. Beverley spearheads the firm’s annual client seminar on data protection issues, offering updates on the latest legal developments, and provides clients with a quarterly legal update.
Beverley is ranked in Chambers UK for data protection and information law, she is on the board of Lexis Nexis for data protection work and acts as Stevens & Bolton’s DPO. She is also a member of the Society for Computers and Law (SCL) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
