
Tim Jacquemard is a Research Analyst at Trilateral Research. He is Trilateral’s project lead for the European Commission-funded projects TRUST aWARE and aqua3S project. Prior to this, Tim was a researcher working on several projects related to the legal, social and ethical aspects of digitalisation at the RCSI, University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the Rathenau Institute, a research institute specialised in technology assessment. Tim holds a PhD in Applied Ethics from Dublin City University. His research background is in applied ethics, governance and regulation of digital technology, and technology assessment. He has worked with a diverse set of academic and industry partners, non-profit organisations and government agencies. Tim has published in several journals, authored reports and deliverables, and has disseminated his work at academic conferences and in public settings.

This session will focus to rights of the children incl. those related to privacy as outlined by the GDPR. The panelists will approach this from their different perspectives as a European Supervisory Authority, a leading social media platform provider, and a researcher company.
