Dr Meiko Jensen
Meiko Jensen is a Senior Lecturer for Cybersecurity and Privacy at Karlstad University, Sweden. After completing his Ph.D. in the topic of cloud security at the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security in Bochum, Germany, Meiko joined the data protection authority of the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein (ULD SH) as a senior researcher until 2016, then became full professor at Kiel University of Applied Sciences until January 2023. Meiko currently also works as external expert for ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity in Athens, Greece. His research interests are in the topics of privacy engineering, cybersecurity, cloud security and privacy, data protection by design, anonymity and pseudonymity, and protection goals of privacy.
