
Jörn Wittmann is Head of Privacy Legislative Strategy & Public Policy at Volkswagen AG. In his role, among other topics, he is in lead of regulatory aspects related to data protection, relations with supervisory authorities as well as the development and implementation of privacy standards.
Jörn Wittmann is a jurist and certified data protection officer. Before joining Volkswagen AG, he was the Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, a Brussels-based monitoring body for Codes of Conduct, and the Managing Director of its holding SRIW (Self-Regulation Information Economy), a German non-profit organization. He started his career at the University of Göttingen, Germany, in the Department of Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, Comparative Law, Multimedia- and Telecommunication Law.
