Mr. Andrés Montero Aparicio holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering. He has developed his research career in the field of agri-food cooperatives. With more than 14 years of experience in management of research and innovation. He has been Co-Chair of the EC Strategic Working Group on Agricultural knowledge and innovation systems (AKIS).

Currently Coordinates as external expert the Focus Group on digitalization and big data in the agri-food and forestry sectors and the rural areas at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment and advises on aspects related to knowledge and innovation systems in the framework of the CAP after 2020 and FP9.
