Dr. Travis Taylor is a licensed Professional Engineer who holds PhDs in Optical Science and Engineering, Aerospace Systems Engineering, as well as Master’s degrees in Physics, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and Astronomy, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. For the past twenty-five years, Taylor has worked on various programs for the Department of Defense and NASA in areas that include advanced propulsion concepts, quantum teleportation, space telescopes, space-based beamed energy systems, future combat technologies and systems, and next generation space launch concepts. Dr. Taylor has published over 25 papers, two textbooks (including Alien Invasion), and has authored or co-authored over twenty bestselling science fiction novels. His penchant for experiments and inventiveness have been captured in hit shows such as Rocket City Rednecks and 3 Scientists Walk Into a Bar, as well as HISTORY’s The Tesla Files and Ancient Aliens. In addition to his professional endeavors, Taylor is a championship black belt martial artist and CrossFit athlete, and has run a marathon in a bulletproof full-body armor suit of his invention.
