Angela Cartwright's acting career began when she was a child. Her first roles were Paul Newman’s daughter in the movie Somebody Up There Likes Me at age three, and Linda Williams on The Danny Thomas Show at age four (a role she continued in for seven years). Angela next appeared as Brigitta von Trapp in the legendary film The Sound of Music. Shortly thereafter, she was cast as Penny Robinson in the iconic television show Lost in Space. Angela has guest starred in numerous television shows, commercials and movies over her six-decade career in show business. Angela's published works include Lost (and Found) In Space (a pictorial memoir she wrote with her Lost in Space co-star Bill Mumy), On Purpose (a fantasy adventure novel written with Bill Mumy that includes twenty-three of Angela's illustrations), Styling the Stars: Lost Treasures from the Twentieth Century Fox Archive (Angela's award-winning coffee table book), and her art publications, Mixed Emulsions, In This House, and In This Garden. She also conceived and collaborated on The Sound of Music Family Scrapbook. Angela has pioneered and produced a clothing and jewelry/accessories line, Angela Cartwright Studio. She married in 1976, raised two children and is a grandmother of three.
