George J. Haas is a founding member of the Mars research group The Cydonia Institute and a member of the Society for Planetary SETI Research. He has co-authored two books with geomorphologist William Saunders: The Cydonia Codex and The Martian Codex. He has also produced six scientific papers that examine artificial structures on the surface on Mars, each of which were published in various peer-reviewed scientific journals. Haas recently appeared on the programs Beyond Belief and Ancient Aliens speaking about a Parrot Geoglyph discovered on the surface of Mars. The highly detailed parrot formation is supported by four NASA images and confirmed to have 17 points of anatomical correctness by three veterinarians. It was also the subject of a scientific paper and featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
