For Michael Dorn, one of the best things about creating the apex Klingon in an ensemble like the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation was that he got to make up the character of Worf as he went along. And with the help of great co-stars, great writing, and really great prosthetics, he created one of television’s most memorable and most unexpectedly beloved heroes. Since Star Trek, Dorn has worked steadily in film, appearing in The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, and Ted 2. Dorn has also appeared in Showtime’s Dead Man’s Gun, was featured in a recurring role over two seasons of Castle, and was seen for three seasons as on-camera host of Discovery’s World of Wonder. In 2017, he returned to the stage, starring in Antony and Cleopatra at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater.
