Sharon Lauve Komorn is a filmmaker and UFOlogy researcher living in Dallas,Texas. Ten years ago, Sharon started filming interviews about people's experiences in this field and found herself at MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) meetings soon after. Today, she is the MUFON Texas, Section 2 (DFW) Assistant Coordinator, and is currently filming Alien Experiencers (IMDB). Sharon holds a BFA from UT Austin, and certifications from DCTV and Hollywood Film Institute. Her coproduction The Lord’s Prayer has been broadcast on MTV, BET, and UPN, and awarded Special Selection at a Women In Film Chickflix Film Festival. Her script Death Games is a Lone Star Screenplay Competition finalist, and presently under option to a British production company. Ms. Komorn managed North Texas Taping and Radio for the Blind for 10 years, producing over 1,000 recorded books, and narrating numerous books for the Library of Congress. While chairing for local theater, she was a 4 time T.A.C.A. grant recipient, and served as V. P. of Communications for the Craft Guild of Dallas. Sharon served a one year appointment as a Committee Advisor to the Texas Education Agency by the Texas State Legislature on Accessibility for the Disabled and Blind in Education. She currently contracts as a corporate Communications Director in agro-environmental sustainability in 35 countries, and is a Marketing Consultant for a foundation in origin producing countries for cocoa, cotton, and coffee. Sharon is a member of TXMP (Texas Motion Picture Alliance), Women In Film, and MUFON.
