JoAnn Donaldson is a former DEA and NASA scientist who holds degrees in bio-medical engineering and computer science. Out of high school, she served 8 years in the US Air Force. She later went on to 14 years at NASA, during which time she worked on Apollo, Skylab, ASTP, and early shuttle as a bio-medical research scientist. After leaving NASA, she moved into commercial positions for 20 years, then returned to government work through contracts with the Department of Defense, the Army, and the VA. She spent the last 22 years of her career as CSI field agent for the DEA and is now retired.
