This session will be a discussion of potential upcoming breakthroughs in technology that could transform human existence. Space travel by advanced propulsion could allow humans to explore Mars or even the stars. New methods of energy generation will revolutionize the concepts of space colonies and solve the problems of climate change and economic development on Earth. Advanced solar, fusion energy, fusion-fission hybrid power, thorium-based energy, cold fusion...the possibilities are numerous!
