Harley Peyton was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and educated at Harvard, Stanford, and the California Institute for the Arts. He worked as a writer/producer for two seasons of Twin Peaks and has written many TV pilots, shows, and films including Moon Over Miami, Elmore Leonard’s Gold Coast, Heaven’s Prisoners, Bandits, and Friends with Benefits. He has also toiled happily on several television shows: Reign (The CW), Wedding Band (TNT), Dracula (NBC), Dominion (Syfy), and Channel Zero (Syfy). He is currently working as a writer/producer on Project Blue Book and could not be happier about that. His daughter Tess was born in 2004; none of the above compares.
