Anthony Lappé is an award-winning director, producer, and investigative journalist. He is the former executive editor of the Guerrilla News Network and the author of two books, including the Eisner-nominated graphic novel, Shooting War. He has produced television programming for MTV, Fuse, PBS, Nat Geo, and the Science Channel, and was a regular contributor to The New York Times and numerous national magazines. He was the producer of the award-winning Iraq war Showtime documentary Battleground and co-director of the award-winning short documentary Lebanon Wins the World Cup. For VICELAND, he was the showrunner of the groundbreaking docu-series Black Market with Michael K. Williams. More recently, he produced History’s America’s War on Drugs ("A milestone in cable television." – The Intercept) and RFK: The Kennedy Family Remembers. His most recent project for History is Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation. Lappé has appeared on the BBC, NPR, Sky News, Fox Business Network, and numerous leading podcasts.
