Kevin Burns
Over the past two decades, Kevin Burns has personally produced more than 900 hours of diverse and dynamic television programming. His work can be seen on HISTORY, WEtv, A&E, Travel Channel, E!, Bravo, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, AMC, and more. In 1999 Burns, in partnership with feature film executive Jon Jashni, founded Synthesis Entertainment where the two began developing and producing remakes and sequels of the popular Irwin Allen movies and television series (Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, etc.), including the feature film version of Poseidon in 2006. In 2016 Synthesis joined Legendary Entertainment in launching the new Lost in Space series that premiered on Netflix in 2018. Also in 1999, Burns founded Prometheus Entertainment, a non-fiction and reality series production company. Notable productions include The Girls Next Door, Kendra on Top, America’s Book of Secrets, and the popular HISTORY series Ancient Aliens and The Curse of Oak Island.
