Her new 2021 mantra is celebrating herself, a realization she discovered in January 2021. Natasha reflected on her entire adult life and it dawned on her: she never celebrated all of the things she accomplished. Now she will truly recognize and celebrate herself for things she accomplished and many more to come. Natasha Ofili debuted in two TV series in 2019: Netflix’s The Politician as Principal Vaugh and Amazon Prime’s Undone as a Deaf Teacher. In June 2020, inspired by the Black Lives Matter protests, Natasha co-wrote and produced with Storm Smith, a creative project Am I Next? to spotlight attention on the Black Deaf Community. Approaching the end of 2020, Natasha debuted in a Marvel Studios and Insomniac Games video game as the first Black Deaf women to play a character in a video game. She was extremely honored to played Hailey Cooper in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Natasha continues to represent her community to inspire future Deaf and Hard of Hearing Black individuals and People of color to break into the theatre and entertainment industry.
