Having enjoyed performing since his first role in the second-grade holiday show, Douglas has always had a passion for the arts. He has also been giving back to the community since he was in grade school. As such, he was able to harness both his passion for the arts and philanthropy when he joined The Actors Fund as Director of Special Events. He brings to The Fund over 24 years of event planning experience with 17 of those years in the non-profit sector managing, developing and executing multi-million dollar events for a variety of organizations. He has been involved in large-scale national and international events, with high-profile attendees and celebrities from the worlds of business, finance, fashion, and music. He has also served as Associate Producer for Humpday with Hampshire, a weekly virtual talk show starring Emily Hampshire of Schitt’s Creek. Douglas also served as the Producer for Brave Hearts For Broadway’s productions of Let Us Entertain You and Holidays From The Heart. He has been a featured panelist at a variety of nonprofit fundraising conferences and is proud to serve on the Board of The Workshop Theater in NYC.
