Cynthia J. Tong is an Asian-American creative producer working across commercial (Broadway and off-Broadway), non-profit, and regional theatre. Currently, she is the Associate Producer at Tom Kirdahy Productions (The Inheritance, Little Shop of Horrors), Line Producer for A Thousands Ways A THOUSAND WAYS by 600 HIGHWAYMEN (Drama League 2021 nom.), a Fellow of WP Theater’s 2020-2022 Lab, and a founding member of The Industry Standard Group (TISG), the first BIPOC commercial theatre investment and producing organization. Highlights from past independent producing projects include NYCLU’s Sing Out for Freedom benefit (Virtual, 2020), Playbill’s Women in Theatre Concert (Virtual, 2020), and LORDES (New Ohio Theatre, 2019). Cynthia is originally from a laid-back, sunny beach town called Rancho Palos Verdes in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She now lives in a place much better suited to her anxieties: New York City.
