Daniel Goldstein is the Kleban Prize-winning bookwriter of "Unknown Soldier," written with the late Michael Friedman. It had its New York premiere at Playwrights Horizons in March of 2020, three days before theaters shut down due to the pandemic. It had it's World Premiere in 2015 at the Williamstown Theater Festival. His new musical "Row" was slated for the 2020 Williamstown season, but will now be heard on Audible as an audio musical experience on April 8th. His plays include "Orange Crush" about Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter of "The Art of the Deal" and "Black Dress White Pearls" about the late Joan Rivers. His directing credits include the 2011 revival of Godspell on Broadway and many other work around the US and Internationally. He is a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Performance Studies.
