Cody Renard Richard is a Tony Award winning producer, stage manager, educator, and advocate. As a stage manager, Cody has worked on 16 Broadway shows, and is currently serving as the PSM for the revival of Sweeney Todd. Other favorites: Cirque du Soleil, Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Tony Awards, VMAs, and 4 Live! Musicals for NBC. Cody is Adjunct faculty at Columbia. He’s also currently a Co-Producer for the revival of Parade on Broadway. He was named a 2020 OUT100 honoree and to the Kennedy Center Next 50 list. Thespians unite! Over 204 million students have been inducted into the International Thespian Society since it was founded in 1929. Among the Thespians across the nation are our future Broadway professionals. Featuring current working Broadway professionals that are Thespian alumni, this panel will focus on the importance of the Thespian Society and how it has shaped the lives of alumni as well as the future of Broadway.
