Rashidra Scott is currently on Broadway as Susan in the gender-swapped revival of Company, Rashidra’s other Broadway credits are Josephine in Ain't Too Proud... (OBC, Grammy Nomination), Janelle in Beautiful: the Carole King Musical (OBC, 2015 Best Musical Theatre Album Grammy), Sister Act (OBC & 1st National Tour), Hair, Finian’s Rainbow, and Avenue Q. Regional appearances include Ambassador of Love: Celebrating Pearl Bailey and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes at the Goodspeed Opera House, Deloris in Sister Act at the Ogunquit & Gateway Playhouses, Lorrell in Dreamgirls at Marriott Lincolnshire, Hairspray at Paper Mill Playhouse, Little Shop of Horrors at STAGES St. Louis (Kevin Kline nomination), and Dionne in Arizona Theatre Company’s production of Hair. While working for Walt Disney Entertainment, Rashidra appeared on Disney Cruise Line (Disney Wonder), at Walt Disney World as a singer in Tarzan Rocks!, and as Nala in the opening team of Hong Kong Disneyland’s The Festival of The Lion King. Television appearances include “Rescue Me” (Sony/FX), “Helpsters” (AppleTV), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Dancing With The Stars, the 2011 and 2014 Tony Awards, The View, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Live with Kelly, Wendy Williams, the Walt Disney World Christmas Parade, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Rashidra also travels to various symphony orchestras across the country singing lead for Winborne Music’s “The Music of Whitney Houston” concerts. She holds a BM in Music Business/Management from Berklee College of Music.
