Anita Gillette

Anita Gillette has enjoyed one of the longest-running careers on Broadway, film, and television. Her first Broadway role was opposite Ethel Merman in Gypsy. Her name went above the title for the first time when she replaced Anna Maria Alberghetti in Carnival! She then starred in Irving Berlin's Mr. President, and the legendary flop, Kelly. Anita also appeared in the original production of Cabaret, They're Playing Our Song, as well as two Neil Simon plays, Brighton Beach Memoirs and Chapter Two.
