Alex-Christian Lucas is a two-time Broadway World New Orleans Award Winning actor, theatre researcher, and historian who is a proud New Orleans native and a member of Equity UK, the American Guild of Musical Artists, the American Society for Theatre Research, and the New Orleans Opera Chorus. He received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and minor in Theatre Arts from Loyola University New Orleans in 2020 and completed his MA in Music Theatre from the University of London’s prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in March of 2022. He has studied in Germany, Canada, New York, and London and has performed in New Orleans and on London’s Off-West End. Select recent credits include Lord Pinkleton in Rodgers and Hanmerstein’s Cinderella, the Preacher in Violet, Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret, and originating the roles of the Warm-Up Guy in the new Off-West End musical Scotch Egg and Mauritz Stiller/Leopold Stokowski in the world premiere of Garbo and Me in London. His research on shrinking Broadway ensemble sizes is ongoing as he works to develop it into a full-length book for publication.
