Join author and cultural historian Caseen Gaines in celebrating the centennial of 1921's Shuffle Along, the groundbreaking, all-Black musical comedy that forever changed the face of the Great White Way. This presentation will shine a special spotlight on the lives and careers of Noble Sissle, Eubie Blake, Flournoy Miller, Aubrey Lyles, and several of the other artists who made the production sparkle and helped kickstart the Harlem Renaissance.
