John has  recorded with artists such as Madonna, Jimmy Cliff, Cher, John Denver,  Manhattan Transfer, Southside Johnny, Desmond Child, Des’ree, The Bacon Brothers, Darlene Love, and fusion artist Craig Peyton. His compositions have also appeared on the hit TV shows “Friends” , “Joey,” and “Queer eye for the Straight Guy” as well as documentary films such as “Methadonia” and “Inside Death Row” His Broadway work has included the shows ""The Who’s Tommy,""  ""The Lion King"", ""Aida"",  “”Brooklyn”, ‘The Wedding Singer” Legally Blonde"", ""Memphis”, ""Kinky Boots”,  “Escape To Margaritaville” and “Beetlejuice”

He currently is performing his own material with musical partner Mike Visceglia, as “The Pine Cats”
