David Pearl (piano) has performed in many of New York’s premiere venues (Joe’s Pub, Rainbow Room, Café Sabarsky, The Cutting Room, Symphony Space) and collaborates frequently with musicians in the jazz and classical community. He has been awarded grants from the New York State Council on the Arts to perform solo piano recitals, and his musical arrangements and transcriptions are published and performed regularly. He is the author of Piano Exercises For Dummies, The Art of Steely Dan, The Jazz Piano Collection, and The Art of Billy Strayhorn. He performs regularly in New York City at concerts and in clubs, as a soloist and in ensembles.
