Joey Dedio is a veteran of more than fifty national commercials, films, stage and television work. Dedio has received an honorary proclamation from the state of Pennsylvania for his outstanding work in representing the Latin culture in the Arts and was the Grand Marshall in the Philadelphia Puerto Rican Day Parade that same year. Dedio recently completed work as an actor and producer on the award winning film “Physical Attraction”. Dedio is currently workshopping Broadway bound Tony Winner Eduardo Gallardo’s play Everybody Knows My Business portraying the lead role of Pepe Gonzalez. Dedio is also a Stage 4 cancer survivor and he just completed PSA commercials for the American Cancer Society, which are currently running nationally in the United States. Dedio is currently in pre and production of producing and starring in three films: “Cry Havoc” (Brian Dennehey/Cathy Moriarity) being produced with Dedio and Tony and Pulitizer Prizewinner Dennis Grimaldi (Angels In America) and being directed by Tony winner Mark Lamos, “Frisco Disco” being directed by two time Sundance winner Rafal Zielinski and “West Side Story: the story” being directed by Tony, Grammy and Emmy winner Martin Charnin.
