Leah Hofmann, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, currently lives and works in New York City. Her Broadway performing credits include War Horse (Joey/Topthorn), Something Rotten! and Big Fish. In New York she has also performed in The Merry Widow (FrouFrou) at the Metropolitan Opera, in Hagoromo featuring Wendy Whelan at BAM, and in numerous puppetry projects at venues around the city including Dixon Place and St. Ann’s Warehouse. Besides performing internationally at the Salzburg Festival, she has performed on national tours with Something Rotten!, Young Frankenstein, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Radio City Rockette). Along with collaborating on several preproduction and workshops for new projects, Leah has enjoyed serving as an assistant and dance captain to choreographer Ann Yee for Die Dreigroschenoper (Threepenny Opera) at the Salzburg Festival, and as assistant choreographer for Legally Blonde at Gateway Playhouse. She has also had the honor of serving as an assistant to Susan Stroman for The Merry Widow and currently is working as the swing/dance captain for the Crazy for You revival lab.
