Brian Michael

Brian Michael was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI, He studied Theatre at Kent State University and continued training at William Esper Studio. His Off-Broadway and regional performances include Ivy Theatre Co.’s A Real Boy (59E59th Theatre; NYC) and Mitch Albom’s Duck Hunter Shoots Angel (Penobscot Theatre; Maine). His TV credits include: Girls, Chicago P.D.and Blue Bloods. He is most proud of his role as trans police officer, Toine Wilkins on OWN’s Queen Sugar. Next, he’ll be appearing on Homeland, Netflix social justice drama, Seven Seconds & Transmasculine webseries, Brothers on Amazon Prime.
