Michael Gioia is a NYC-based writer and performer. He appeared in Friends in Theater’s 2016 benefit staging of The Secret Garden, starring Rebecca Luker. He has performed with NYC's 5th Floor Theatre, including 2014's Debbie Does Dallas, and the Manhattan Children's Theatre as well as at various cabaret venues, including 54 Below, where he conceived the sold-out Bitching and Belting series.
