Maren has been a theatre critic in Utah since 2011. She is a member of the American Theatre Critics Association. Utah Theatre Bloggers was started as a way to provide critiques to local theatre in Utah, as well as to promote the production of theatre arts locally. By day, Maren is a counselor in a non-profit religious based refugee training program, helping resettled refugees in the United States gain work skills and language skills. She has two daughters who are budding actresses hoping to beat Audra McDonald's Tony Award Record.
