Julia Mattison is an actor, singer, writer, and comedian. Mattison made her Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of Godspell, and since then has carved a place in the New York comedy and cabaret scene, frequently performing at 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, and Les Poisson Rouge, among others. Mattison’s original comedy show, Ruby Manger Live! At 54 Below, in which she plays a 70 year old legend looking back on her life and career, debuted to sold-out crowds at Feinstein’s/54 Below. As a comedian and writer, Mattison has earned awards for her work in sketch and standup comedy, and was featured in EW, The AV Club, NY Mag, and more for her spoof creation, Human Centipede: The Musical. She developed a series for MTV alongside her writing partner Sydney Nikols, and most recently began a development deal with Comedy Central based on her original series "Brooklyn Sound" (2016 Streamy Award Winner- Best Indie), which she created and starred in alongside her collaborator Noel Carey.
