Kristy Cates
Kristy Cates has appeared on Broadway as Grandma Josephine in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as Ms. Bassett in Finding Neverland, and was a member of the original broadway cast of Wicked (Elphaba understudy). She went on to play Elphaba in the highly acclaimed sit-down production of Wicked in Chicago. She is the Creative Director of the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre at the New York Film Academy, has a private voice studio in NYC, and has taught master classes across the USA as well as in Rio and London. Kristy has her BFA from The Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. She lives in NYC with her husband, Patrick, and 4-year-old daughter, Gracie.
