The history of drama, plays about historical people and events, and how theatre audiences read history have all intrigued Beth since she earned her PhD in drama at Trinity College Dublin. She has been teaching, lecturing, and writing about this for over a decade and is attending her first BroadwayCon to moderate the “Playing Theatre History” panel. She is the author of Urban Plays of the Early Abbey Theatre (Syracuse University Press) and many essays on modern drama.
