Lisa Mitchell is the Director of Education & Audience Engagement at Disney Theatrical Group where she engages students, teachers, and communities through Broadway performance and student-driven productions. She partners with an international network of performing arts centers, regional theaters, and children's theaters to develop new school theater programs. Lisa served on the board of the American Alliance for Theater & Education, and is on the Education & Audience Engagement committee at the Broadway League. She hold's a master's degree in educational theater from the City College of New York, and is currently wrapping up her doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University. Her doctoral research examines theater program sustainability in under-resourced schools.
