Harry Smolin is a consultant with TDF working on their autism-friendly performances. He has consulted on every autism-friendly performance season since 2013, recommending changes to sound, lighting and other effects that will make the performance more manageable for audience members who have autism. This is his second BroadwayCon; he was a “Theatre Accessibility: Today and Beyond” panelist in 2017. His work for TDF has been featured in The Atlantic, The New York Times, Playbill Magazine and on National Public Radio. He is a senior in college, a communication and film studies major, and member of the Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honor Society, and the Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society for students with disabilities.
