Mark Lowry is the co-founder and editor of TheaterJones.com, a Dallas-based performing arts online magazine, which began in 2009. In 2018, he co-founded the non-profit Metropolitan Arts Media, which includes TheaterJones.com under its umbrella -- and in doing so became one of a handful of non-profit arts journalism outlets in the country. He is a former theater critic at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, was a 2003 fellow at the National Critics Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, and has won numerous awards. TheaterJones covers theater, dance, classical music, opera and comedy via reviews, features, interviews, podcasts, video, news stories and occasional investigative reporting.
