Malcolm Armwood, a native of Rocky Mount, NC, is beyond grateful to be in the 2019 Tony Award Winning Best Musical of Hadestown! He began his theatre career at the age of 15, where he played the role of the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz in the local community theatre. Malcolm received a BFA in Musical Theatre from East Carolina University and traveled the Mediterranean on Norwegian Cruise Lines afterwards. He has been in NYC over six years and has performed in multiple regional houses and toured nationally with Motown the Musical and Smokey Joe's Cafe. Some regional credits: The Black Clown, Grease, Ragtime, Showboat, Hairspray, and Kiss Me, Kate.
