Amanda-Rae Prescott is a thirty-year-old journalist, period drama blogger, historical costumer and occasional Doctor Who convention volunteer from NYC. Her first Broadway musical ever was Cats, but Hamilton changed the game for her interest in the genre as the show merged history and increasing awareness of diversity. Since then she not only has made her own Angelica Schuyler dress, she has carved out a platform online to become an advocate for increasing POC and younger audience participation in Broadway and period drama fandoms through her articles for the blogs Nerdeek Life and Blacklanderz.
