Christopher Gurr starred as Gus in the Trevor Nunn/Andy Blankenbuehler revival of Cats. Other Broadway credits: Tuck Everlasting, Kinky Boots, Amazing Grace, and All The Way with Bryan Cranston. First National Tours: Memphis and Monty Python’s Spamalot. Most recently he was featured opposite Raúl Esparza in John Doyle’s production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Off-Broadway at Classic Stage Company. His next project is the Susan Stroman helmed Ahrens and Flaherty musical, Marie, at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre. He has been teaching for over thirty years and coaching in NYC for ten years. His clients are on Broadway (My Fair Lady, Carousel, Cats, Phantom of The Opera, The Prom, Network, etc.), on the road in national tours (Hello, Dolly!, The Play That Goes Wrong, Something Rotten, Wicked), and working in regional theaters across the country. He’s a union member with Actors’ Equity, SAG-AFTRA, and Stage Directors & Choreographers Society.
