David W. Connolly is an Adjunct Professor of Music Theatre at Sheridan College and the Associate Artistic Director of Drayton Entertainment, one of Canada's largest not-for-profit professional theatre companies. He is a double below-knee amputee who has performed on Broadway and helmed Canadian regional theatre premieres including "Newsies," "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," and "Mamma Mia!" He is a recipient of The Ontario Premier's Award of Excellence for outstanding contribution to the field of applied arts and community service as well as an ambassador and advocate for both The War Amps’ Child Amputee Program and The Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. He is a proud member of The Directors Guild of Canada, ACTRA, Equity and The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
