Gabriela Garcia is an artist dividing her time between the theater, dance, commercial, and education industries. She holds a BA in performing arts from Saint Mary's College of California. Most recently she was a guest dramaturg and choreographer for Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s Navidad, A Mexican-American Christmas. Theater credits include the role of Best Friend/Maid in Rodrigo Nogueira’s play Real. She was a cast member of the musical Half Time, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, Movement Associate for the production of Sweeney Todd at the Barrow Street Theater, Associate Choreographer for Public Works' musical production of Twelfth Night at the Delacorte, and is a former cast member and dance captain for Chicago on Broadway, Mexico City, and Vienna. TV: “Succession,” “Jessica Jones.” Film credits: "In The Heights," "Whatever Lola Wants" (Tribeca film festival) and "Enchanted." Gabriela is Co-Founder and Director of R.Evolución Latina (RL), an affiliate of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Her work as co-founder/director allows her to stay in touch with her Latin roots and continue to share her knowledge of the arts with the under-served communities in New York City and beyond.
