At the age of 18, following the filming of his first ever role as Bud in Leatherface, Sam was cast to play Wylis, the younger version of the much loved character Hodor, in Season 6 of Game of Thrones. Following that, Sam’s acting career has continued, landing the role of Hamlet in a short film and getting to play Metallion, the founder of Slayer Magazine, in Jonas Akerlund’s cult film Lords of Chaos, among other projects. Sam doesn’t just confine himself to acting, however, and is somewhat of a political activist, having been elected as a local government representative in his home town in May 2019. Sam also performs on stage as a mind reader and psychological illusionist so it’s fair to say he’s an interesting person to meet. This is Sam’s third time attending Con Of Thrones and he’s excited to be back.
