"Bury Your Gays": We're Here, We're Queer, Stop Killing Us on Television

What:
Panel
When:
3:00 PM, Saturday 30 Jul 2016 (50 minutes)
In popular media, queer individuals have faced a distinct lack of representation. In the earliest days, the only way queer folks made it onto television is if they died at the end. Society has come a long way but television, it seems, has not. Join us to talk about how queer people (especially lesbian-identified women) can't seem to stay alive at the hands of today's writers and producers.
