When Warner Bros. announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was going to be split into two films, many fans rejoiced. One more midnight premiere and another two hours of film. But then, Summit Entertainment announced Breaking Dawn was going to be split into two films. And now, there’s a fourth Divergent Series film titled Ascendant that nobody even wanted. We’ll discuss why this trend needs to stop, how it’s cheapening the quality of movies, and how it’s angering fans.
