Jack Barsky’s life marks him as one of a kind. He was born in Germany, became a chemistry professor, was recruited by the KGB, spent 10 years illegally in the United States spying for the Russians, and ended up a United States citizen and information technology executive.

Jack’s story was featured on CBS's 60 Minutes in May of 2015. His memoir Deep Undercover was released in March of 2017. The book has been translated into German, Swedish and Polish. Jack has appeared frequently on MSNBC, CNN and FOX and international programs in Germany, Poland, Japan, Turkey, and France. In his sixth career—as a public speaker—Jack has made appearances across the United States and Europe. Jack lives with his wife, Shawna, and daughter, Trinity, in Atlanta, Georgia.
