Steve Gillon is Scholar-in-Residence for HISTORY and professor of history at the University of Oklahoma. He has hosted a number of series and specials on the network including HistoryCenter, Movies in Time, History vs. Hollywood, and Our Generation. An award winning teacher and New York Times bestselling author, Gillon earned his Ph.D. at Brown University, spent nine years teaching at Yale University and three at Oxford University before being named the founding dean of the Honors College at the University of Oklahoma. He is the author of 13 books and numerous articles on modern American history and politics.
